I’ve got a little #MotivationMonday post for you all today, in the form of a workout playlist that will PUMP (clap Hanz and Franz style) YOU UP! Note: Please google “Hanz and Franz SNL” if you didn’t get that joke. And don’t tell me if you did, as I will feel super old.
If you’re like me, you don’t just leap out of bed in the mornings, ready to get your workout on. I always feel so accomplished and better about life post-workout, but getting started is often a struggle, especially if I’m working out at home or going for a run by myself. In those instances, I need something to make the workout fun. Enter, an amazing workout playlist.
For me, a workout playlist must do two things to be effective: be upbeat and be fun. The songs have to make me smile. Bonus if they remind me of some ridiculousness that happened from 1998-2008 and I bust out laughing. Those were, without a doubt, the years I was most likely to be involved in ridiculousness.
Whether or not our decades of ridiculousness overlap, I hope you can find some songs to motivate you here. So what are you waiting for? PUMP UP THE JAMS and get going, Besties!
1. Eye of the Tiger – Survivor
2. Shoop – Salt-n-Pepa
3. Good Vibrations – Marky Mark & the Funky Bunch
