Welcome to another week, Besties!  I hope you had a fabulous weekend.  Mine was busy but I took a much needed social media hiatus yesterday as well as a long nap and it was just what the doctor ordered.  Whoever started the #selfcaresunday trend, I heart you oh so much!
Speaking of what the doctor ordered, we’re talking today about the benefits of yoga…and there are SO many benefits to choose from!  From slimming down, to putting you to sleep , to stress relief, yoga does it ALL.  One thing I love most about yoga is that you don’t have to do it all day, every day to get results.  With just a few minutes of practice per day (I’m talking 10 or less!) you can increase your strength, flexibility, and peace of mind.  Oh, how yoga rocks…let me count the ways:
1.  Yoga trims and slims.  Certain poses and flows are designed specifically for weight loss, and the best thing is this: so much of yoga incorporates body appreciation.  Whether you are reminded to be grateful for what your body can do for you or affirm your body for its strength, yoga is for EVERY BODY.  More and more yoga instructors are focusing on body positivity and that is something we can all benefit from.  If you’re looking for some yoga flows that make you feel the burn, check these out:
2.  Yoga helps you get your zzz’s.  Yes, another benefit of yoga is its ability to fully relax your body and prepare it for sound sleep.  If sleep is a struggle for you, try one of the following flows to send you swiftly into dreamland:
3.  Conversely, yoga can wake you right up.  If you have trouble getting up and at ’em in the am, yoga can help with that too.  Try one of these flows to get you feeling good and centered first thing in the morning:
4.  Yoga can soothe what ails you.  From tummy troubles to tight muscles to neck and back pain, certain yoga poses and flows can help you feel better quickly, especially when practiced daily as a preventive measure.  Try the following flows if you’re experiencing any of these issues:
