Well it may be March, but we have just had a wicked nor’easter pass through, gifting us with 22 inches of snow, so needless to say, it still feels like winter around these parts. I won’t complain (too much), because ever since I discovered
hygge, winter is actually not so bad! Sure, it’s cold and perhaps the driving is difficult, but there are plenty of things to enjoy about the frostiest time of year. Snuggling up with a good book, savoring a hot cup of tea (or mulled wine!), and slowing down your pace are some of my favorites.
You may be tired of hearing me go on and on about hygge, but I just can’t seem to stop singing its praises! I even became a full-on hygge-nerd and did a whole webinar on hygge, which you can view by signing up at the bottom of this post if you are so inclined! 🙂
In case you truly are tired of hearing me sing hygge’s praises, I’ve decided to gift you today with 15 hygge lifestyle photos to inspire and encourage your hygge addiction. Or, if you’re still like “hygga-whaaa is she talking about?!” you’ll have a good idea of what hygge is and why I love it so darn much just by browsing these photos. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words, or so they say.
I hope you enjoy these gorgeous hygge photos, Besties! I found them all on unsplash.com. It’s a great place to find more gorgeous hygge photos, to be sure, but I’m told there are also tons of other lovely (and free!) images there. Looking through hygge photos on
Instagram,
Unsplash, and even
Picjumbo has become somewhat of a fun pastime for me lately! Again, I know, I’m more than a little hygge-obsessed, but for good reason…who doesn’t love coziness and togetherness?!
Have fun checking out these photos that represent the hygge lifestyle I know and love…and definitely let me know what your favorite hygge activity is in the comments; I’d love to hear from you!
