Apparently, yesterday was Winnie the Pooh Day, and while I’m not normally the type of person to celebrate things like National Popcorn Day (today), or Bubble Bath Day (a few weeks ago), I feel Pooh has enough amazing things to say about friendship and life that may be worth celebrating.  Not that popcorn and bubble baths don’t have a special place in my heart, because they absolutely do.  And also, when National Caramello Bar Day, National Sauvignon Blanc Day, and National Lay in Bed and Do Nothing Day occur, you can bet I will be having an all-out party over here.  #you’vebeenwarned.

Perhaps it’s because I’m a mom, or maybe I’m just gearing up for my kids’ first trip to Disney World this summer (can’t think about it without shrieking with joy!), but Winnie’s words of wisdom on friendship are straight up perfect.  I hope you enjoy them, and feel free to tell us your fave Winnie the Pooh character in the comments.  In case you were wondering, mine is a tie between Tigger (that energy tho!) and Kanga (#momgoals).  But after reading these A.A. Milne quotes, we all may be converts to that one and only silly old bear.
