The weekend is here, Besties!  I hope you have tons of fun planned!  I plan to spend quality time with my family and friends.  Looking forward to some down time for sure, and getting acquainted with my new phone, which (finally!) arrived today.  PRAISE.
A while back, I posted a quote about addiction on my Instagram feed:
“When we scratch the wound and give into our addictions we do not allow the wound to heal.”
It’s a topic that is near and dear to my heart, as I have spent several years working in a substance rehab and mental health hospital. Recovery from any addictive behavior can be incredibly difficult, for the person in recovery, as well as their loved ones. Today I’m sharing some encouragement for those newly embarking on that noble road. I’m over at the Welzen App Blog, doing a guest post on this very topic and I hope you’ll stop by to check it out!
Have a wonderful weekend and make sure to do something just for you!
