My 19 Favorite 90’s Songs

Don’t you love when a certain song has the power to transport you to a particular time and place in your life?  I sure do.  I can think of no other genre of songs with more power to do that in my life than…90’s songs.
And apparently, the 90’s are back!  Or, at least, some parts of the 90’s are back.  I was looking around the mall the other day and noticed that one of the trends for fall (at least fall fashion) is all things 90’s!  While I was born in the 80’s, I spent my formative years in the decade of Clueless, grunge, flannel, and Delia’s (RIP Delia’s…I used to love getting that catalog in the mail!).
Sticking to my new capsule wardrobe has been bringing me lots of joy, so I’m not about to rush out and fill my new closet a la Cher Horowitz (though installing the rotating racks would be SO fun!), all this 90’s gear has inspired me to make a playlist of amazing 90’s songs to lift me up on a bad day or just make any day better!  I know I sound like a huge nerd, but it took me a while to make this playlist…I wanted it to be true to what I loved in the 90’s, but also representative of the decade as a whole.  So, without further ado, here are my 19 fave songs of the 90’s for your listening pleasure.  Put this playlist in Spotify or Apple Music and enjoy!
And I’m also dying to know…what are your fave 90’s songs?  Did any of yours make my list of top songs of the 90’s? Let me know in the comments!
