As a therapist and lover of all things self-care, I’m always on the lookout for resources that can help me help others…and of course, help myself! Today I want to share several online self-care and mental health resources that I have found particularly helpful lately with the hope that you will find one or some of them helpful as well! Be sure to let me know if you have other online self-care resources you love in the comments!
In no particular order, here are my fave online self-care resources:
I’ve been obsessed with all things enneagram for a while now, so if you’ve been following along with me on social media (or you’re a member of My Self Care Bestie), you already know how helpful I think it is! If you’re not familiar, the enneagram is a type of personality assessment (similar to Myers-Briggs) that gives you a number 1-9 and helps you gain insight into yourself and your relationships based on your number. My fave enneagram resources lately are:
Enneagram Paths – Written by my dear friend Melissa Kircher, this blog is my absolute fave when it comes to in-depth discussion on the enneagram! She’s my go-to person for enneagram questions AND she provides coaching if you’re interested in that as well!
@enneagramandcoffee on Instagram – A great account that provides a lot of basic info and self-care suggestions based on your enneagram type.
@justmyenneatype on Instagram – Another fave IG account about the enneagram – it doesn’t hurt that the feed is so darn pretty, too!
My Self Care Bestie – is my monthly workbook & self-care community that provides busy women with a doable plan for self-care so they can stay mentally healthy and live their best life. The best part? It’s delivered straight to your inbox! Membership is currently closed, but will be opening again later in 2019, so stay tuned! To be the first to know when membership re-opens (and to get your FREE self-care plan), click here!
@lisaoliveratherapy on Instagram – Lisa is a fellow therapist who has brought her wisdom and skills to the IG platform. It’s so fun to see how other therapists are showing up on social media – I’m telling you, it’s the wave of the future…and we all benefit! 🙂
@drjennhardy on Instagram – Another therapist on IG who shares simple self-care ideas, relationship advice, and is just a straight-shooter, which I love. All of the therapists mentioned here, including myself have disclaimers that social media cannot take the place of actual therapy, but we are simply here to share our knowledge with the hope that some will benefit from it!
That being said, I do offer once monthly mobile check-ins (which is considered coaching, not therapy – email me if you want to talk about the difference!) and I’d love to work with you. If you want more info on what I offer as part of my mobile check-ins, you can click here!
It’s a privilege I don’t take lightly that you’re here, following along with me, so thank you! I wish you the very best today and always!
